While at the University of Guelph-Humber, I was tasked with taking a recent speech and transforming it into a newsworthy press release. During my brainstorm session, I was reminded of my love of music and remember how powerful Taylor Swift’s 2022 commencement speech was. From there my mind was set, so I took her powerful words and transformed it into something newsworthy by introducing a similar course inspired by Swift’s career and discography. Through personal knowledge and research I crafted a well-written press release that highlights the speech and the corresponding course.
