Reputation & Crisis Management is an essential factor in the world of sports media. With so many eyes on the “shinning stars” amongst different teams and organizations, maintaining a positive image is essential to the integrity of the sport and the fans who support it. Accounting for this ideal, my classmate and I dove into how the Chicago Blackhawks internally dealt with major issues and how those actions impacted their reputation. Diving into most recent matters surrounding the team’s conduct, we discussed how the situations were handled and where certain actions could be improved on.
